Every year Friendly House Community Center puts on an amazing auction–Swing into Spring– that raises money for their non-profit organization. This year’s theme for the auction was honoring 80 years of childhood.
Friendly House creates a thriving community by connecting people of all ages and backgrounds through quality educational, recreational and other life-sustaining services. I see it first hand and I am lucky enough to say I that am a part of it. I work for their after school program where I have the opportunity to teach 4th and 5th graders photography and some of their photos were auction items! Here are just a few shots of the night and be looking in the Oregonian for some others.
