Here’s another iconic landmark from NYC: John Lennon’s Memorial in Central Park. I can’t get enough of this park, it’s so amazing!

I am happy to be back Portland and catching up on some work. Stay tuned for a recap of the photo workshop and also a new wedding post!

Hi Everyone! I am in NYC for a few days attending Ryan Brenizer’s photography workshop! Ryan is an awesome NYC Wedding Photographer and I am totally excited to learn some new tips and tricks from him. I will definitely will post a full recap when I get back. Please give me a couple extra days to get back with emails and calls. Thanks!

Extra points to those who know the name of the building in the background. ;-)

Great photo!! Isn't that the Fuller/Flatiron Building? But that's not fair...I'm originally from NY =) Hope you enjoyed the Big Apple Daniel! (04.20.2010 05:27pm)

I have worked with one of the owners of Scott Paul Wines, Martha Wright, on several photo events for a different organization. And ever since we met, Martha has graciously invited Lindsay and I to visit their little tasting room in Carlton, Oregon on more than one occasion. Each time we go, we leave thinking that it’s the best tasting room we’ve ever been to. The wine is delicious and on this particular day, we were tasting their newest release, the Audrey 2008 vintage.

The two have been making wine together for years and Scott Paul Wright is a dedicated burgundy fan, bringing some of the best wines from France to distribute here. Scott and Martha are wonderful hosts and it is so fun to talk with them. We especially love hearing about travels to France to taste wine and meet with their suppliers. Next time, take us with you!

We actually live in the same neighborhood of Portland as them and often see them around with their daughter Pirrie, whom they’ve named one of their wines after. One of the tasters yesterday brought in their puppy Chow and she was a big hit with Pirrie.

Thank you again Martha and Scott for another excellent trip to Scott Paul! See you next time…

Find more about Scott Paul here: www.scottpaul.com

Follow them on Facebook and Twitter for the inside scoop on tasting and events.

Sweet shots. It looks like a really cool place to drink some vino! I am sad they didn't name this wine Aubrie though- I would have bought a case! The shots look super crisp (especially the wine pour shot) and the colors are amazing. Ya using that new lens of yours? (04.13.2010 07:00am)

Talk about a fist bumping (there was lots of that), fun lovin’ couple! Sarah and Jesse’s wedding was an amazing celebration! They got married at  The Aerie at Eagle Landing and we were able to get some shots of them right as the sun was setting–it was pretty magical.

They were the first couple to kick off a very busy 2010 season and what a way to start! Lindsay (my wife and partner in crime ;-) ) has such a unique eye and took some awesome shots (check out the slideshow!) and I am really excited to have her by my side with some other weddings this year!

Raise your glasses to Sarah and Jesse–we wish you guys a life of love and happiness! Cheers!

See the slideshow full screen here or at the bottom of the post.

Love, Love, LOVE it!!! Wow! I love the sparklers, I love Grandma and Grandpa dancing (in my head it was Grandma and Grandpa...your photos tell stories. Even if I wasn't there, I see a story in your photos.) I also love the two moms (again, my story!) watching with tears of joy as their two children dance their first dance. (04.03.2010 01:41am)
