How do I sum up my 2010? Grateful. I met some amazing couples who trusted me to photograph the most important day of their lives. Their weddings brought me all over the country, for which I am grateful. I did two workshops with some of my favorite photographers. I traveled to the Outer Banks of North Carolina for three days of learning and photographing with Ben and Erin Chrisman. I worked with an incredible design company, Flosites, to makeover my brand and logo. I completed a triathlon, traveled with my wife, met new people and reconnected with old friends.

Cheers to 2010 and here’s to an even greater 2011.

Thank you everyone who helped get to where I am today. Salude.

Please enjoy the year in wedding photos. I would have loved to put in every shoot I did over the year from engagements to events and portraits but I figured you only had enough patience for weddings! Thanks and enjoy the show. (watch it fullscreen here or just press play at the bottom)

Adams Family Portrait Shoot

Kelly and Nick were guests at a summer wedding I photographed and recently contacted me about a family photo session. Kelly was inspired by the engagement session the couple had and wanted her family shoot to have the same feeling: cozy, urban, winter, fun. We headed down to the same area, Tanner Springs Park and Jamison Park in Portland’s Pearl district. It wasn’t hard to capture the fun and joy of this family. Kelly, her husband, Nick and their two adorable kids were awesome in front of the camera. The kids looked like little magazine models and it was so much fun to photograph them. Their expressions and personalities were priceless the entire time. Especially when I had Kelly and Nick kiss and the kids tried to cover up their mouths. It was pretty cute.

Happy Holidays to the Adams family!
