Chris + Tayler – Portland Engagement

Chris and Tayler are both from Oklahoma and they definitely won me over with their southern charm.  Since Chris is an amazing soccer player and he plays for the Portland Timbers,  it was only natural that we started the day off at his team’s home turf, Jeld Wen Field.  After which, we made our way to Pittock Mansion for a different view of the city and a little time in our city’s giant playground, Forest Park.

Portland Engagement – Steve & Emily

Emily and Steve just moved away from Portland to start a new adventure in Southern Oregon.  So when we scheduled their engagement shoot we made sure to do it in their favorite area of Portland, the Pearl district.  I had a blast photographing them and after the shoot we had a couple of beers and chatted like old friends. I can’t wait for their wedding. Cheers guys.

  • Aubrie:

Molly & Chris – Sauvie Island Engagement

The first thing I noticed about Molly was her smile and the fact that she couldn’t stop smiling.  Chris and Molly were so natural together. I hardly felt like I had to give them poses or tell them how to look. They were in their moment and I feel lucky I got to capture it. We had a fun day out at Sauvie Island, outside of Portland and I knew we were good fit when Chris looked at me and said “Let’s grab a beer after this.” I can’t wait for their wedding next year.

  • Cathi:

I love so many of them! Okay. All of them! Gorgeous! (10.26.2011 09:39pm)

  • Molly:

I absolutely adore them! I can't stop looking through them. Thanks so much Daniel, you are awesome at what you do!! We couldn't be happier :) (10.27.2011 08:19pm)

  • Dan:

  • Melissa McClure:

Beautiful! Love all the bright colors and angles! Gorgeous photos! (10.28.2011 05:25pm)

  • Aubrie:

Sooo many amazing shots I'm having a hard time picking some favorites. These are awesome. The opening shot with the sunflower is killer, the wide shot with the tree is super fun and I love the two shots that you did inside the door of the barn! You rock! (10.31.2011 05:21pm)

  • Jessica Stout:

Seriously. You are a framing master. Loving 1, 4, 5, 6, but 17 took the cake for me. (11.04.2011 04:38pm)

Hallie really wanted her engagement photos to be taken in downtown Portland and lucky for us, she had access to a building rooftop that gave us one of the best views in the city. Top it off with a beautiful clear day and views of both Mount St. Helens and Mount Hood, it was the perfect setting for her and Kyle. We had fun cruising the city streets and soaking up all the awesome light for their photos. I’m looking forward to their wedding next year. Cheers!

  • Hallie Vossen-White:

What vibrant shots with great light and contrast. It really captured the couple and the awesome city that Portland is. Nice work! (08.11.2011 05:10am)
